Even though Minah and James had drastically different ideas on what to wear for their first date (she donned a skirt and heels while he sported a t-shirt and shorts), it didn't stop the pair from having great conversation over ice cream sandwiches and dive bar beers.
Date Guests 175 September 28, 2013 Amy and Jamie really wanted to keep their wedding in the city, but they needed a venue that would suit both of their personalities. "Jamie is a little more traditional, I love style and glamour, and amazing food was very important to both of us," Amy explains.

As a producer in the advertising industry, Bailey is used to planning things. So when Evan informed her that he had planned a dinner for them one Sunday night, she knew something was up. "I knew what was coming and spent three days freaking out; I had this huge news to share, but couldn't share it with anyone because it wasn't news yet," she says.
Jackie always knew she wanted a pirate themed wedding, even before she met Y'ves. So when it came to this couple saying "I do" there really was only one way they were going to do it! The wedding was held on The Kajama Tall Ship, docked at The Harbourfront Centre on Queens Quay West in Toronto.

There are lots of reasons to have an intimate wedding, but for many couples it really boils down to cost. In order to keep their budget in check, Caileigh and Matt slashed their guest list - from 150 people down to 63 - and cut out what they felt were unnecessary costs.

Polina Minikovski and Alexandre Kojoukhov, August 25, 2013, Toronto, Ontario Photography courtesy of Navy Nhum Photography. Polina and Alexandre's favourite pastime is surprising each other. "One of my first surprises for Alexandre was flying him to Los Angeles and taking him on a hot air balloon ride at sunrise," Polina shares.
Paul proposed to Beth on their second annual camping trip in Haliburton. "We took a hike to a nearby look-out, and as we looked at the beautiful view, Paul read Walt Whitman's poem "Song of the Open Road." I could feel his heart beating faster and knew something big was going to happen.
Catherine and Matthew's love story began in January of 2012, when they danced the night away at a local bar in Toronto's Kensington Market area. The couple knew right away that they were meant for each other, so it was only an added bonus when they discovered that they had so much in common.
From the moment they met, Michelle and Elliot were on each other's minds. While their first date wasn't conventionally romantic, (Dairy Queen, a bowling alley and a strip club were the night's hangout spots!) they still managed to fall head over heels for each other.
Date Guests 210 July 13, 2013 Sarah and Michael's love story began quite innocently on the playground of St. George's Junior School in 1992. "Michael was the heartthrob of our junior school, and I was a tomboy who used to play baseball during recess," recalls Sarah.
It was at an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day during their university years that Renée and Ian met. "We must have had the luck of the Irish that day because it's been love ever since!" Renée laughs. Renée Bourassa and Ian Marthinsen, April 12, 2014, Toronto, Ontario.
Make sure you're cozy in your seat, because today's wedding from A Brit & A Blonde, Darling & Daisy, and Blush And Bloom is a doozy. Aleksandra and Dave's wedding in Toronto was full of the most incredible touches, including a darling sweetheart table with a sequin backdrop, a cake table with endless treats, and a ceremony setup I could stare at for days on end.
If you ever wondered how to have a beach wedding that's pure sophistication and class, you needn't wonder anymore. Jessica Rose Photography, KJ & Co, and Blush & Bloom have the answer in the form of this styled wedding shoot, which takes a simple color palette of white, green, and gold and creates an absolutely dreamy scene.
Date August 30, 2013 Ginelle has always been fascinated by the Victorian era, namely for the elegance of its decor and clothing. She dreamed her wedding day would echo some influence from the Victorian era, and her dream came true. At the beautiful and classic Casa Loma, Ginelle and Igor held their wedding and reception.
Caitlan and Jay decided early in the wedding planning process that they wanted an intimate, sophisticated, family wedding. "Initially, the front-runner location for the reception was the famous Da Paolino restaurant, shaded by 130 lemon trees, on the Italian island of Capri.
