If your skin is on the warmer side, stay away from brown lipsticks with red or green undertones as they can cause your face to look little ruddy. Try a cooler, taupe-like tone. You olive-toned complexions, however, can embrace the dark, crimson browns. In fact, your yellow-undertones make for a versatile complexion that can handle even the darkest of shades! Dark Skin Tones

When it comes to rockin' a neutral, earthy shade like brown, contrasting is key. That being said, those pale, nude browns that seem to wash out everyone else are perfect for you darker-skinned ladies. Try a soft tan, coffee- or pink-toned nude for the perfect brown pout!
