Intimate Engagement Photos in an Antique Store + Fall-Inspired Dinner Party

via

Like a treasure hiding in a quaint antique store, it is often the simplest things that are the most precious... And for Julia + Zachary, sentiment is key. The recently engaged couple could be described as old souls, especially with their penchant for the arts + vintage treasures; they often frequent the antique store around the corner from their place! So it only made sense that their engagement photos reflected the things that they love most: each other, hidden treasures + their friends! So following their gorgeous + moody shoot in the antique shop, they welcomed their closest friends to their backyard in Studio City (Los Angeles) for a darling dinner party. An intimate setting, illuminated by twinkling lights - the environment was warm and inviting, formal and yet relaxed.

The couples shares We met back in high school when Julia was a bit of a punk rock, bohemian babe... Zachary was a mechanic who had perfected the effortlessly cool thing. Our love story didn't begin then, but Julia swears that she knew the moment she saw him that she would someday marry Zachary (he had the best hair). We both grew up a bit, crossed paths again three years later and fell head over heels in love... A month after our first kiss, we moved into our first apartment together in Manhattan and after years of doing the New York thing, we ultimately decided that Los Angeles was calling to us. It's been really good to us - and Zachary proposed in March of this year!!

We've been invited to take a peek into their evening, with photos by Heirlume Photography! Shall we?
