Jacobsen Salt Warehouse Wedding: Katie + Ben

Ben: Seeing Katie for the first time that day. When she entered it was from the back and off to the side, everyone stood up immediately so the first few peeks I had were through the gaps and over people's heads before she actually got to the aisle. I had major butterflies, but as soon as we were standing together everything just became calm and comfortable. And the people! It was unreal, they were just all there. Right there in real life, all at once. All night, everywhere I turned there was someone to hug. The next day my right wrist was all sore, because apparently that's how I hug people.

Katie: I absolutely adored our vows and the speeches at our reception, but I also often daydream about our dance floor so I'd say that was my favorite moment. In lieu of a bouquet toss we had a ladies-only time on the dance floor to the tune of Beyoncé's "7/11". Seeing all my favorite boss ladies together on one dance floor getting so into it will be one of my favorite life moments ever, without a doubt. All the guys in the room were like "oh damn, this is happening. We should back up and not get in their way."

Processional: The Jensens - Phil Cook

Recessional: This Will Be Our Year - The Zombies

First Dance: The World's Greatest (R. Kelly Cover) - Bonnie Prince Billy

At the end of the day the only thing that really matters is that you feel like the best version of your yourselves when you are standing up there saying your vows. Make the day what you want it to be, and remember that your energy is better spent on loving each other than stressing over the little details. Oh, and make sure you have someone designated to run and get some extra cans of cheap beer when your kegs run out. That's super important.
