Pantone Spring 2016 Colour Palettes Part 2

Pantone Spring 2016 Colour Palettes Part 2

Good morning lovelies! It's time for Part 2 of our introduction to the new Pantone Spring 2016 Palette - be sure to check out Part 1. Today we're looking at three more lovely shades - two brighter versions off popular pastels, and one particularly gorgeous grey.

First up, we have Limpet Shell, which is a lovely cool aqua with a hint of seafoam, it's fresh, crisp, modern and playful. To keep it contemporary, I love this colour combined with clean whites and soft neutrals.

Row 2: Yellow ombre ruffle cake { Wings Of Glory Photography/ VOWS Wedding & Event Planning/ Wendy Woo Cakes}; yellow sundress; yellow cocktails { Michelle March}

I had a friend at university who used to wear a dress this colour (aka Buttercup, a beautiful, bright, canary yellow). It never failed to lift not just her mood but those around her - yellow really is such a sunny colour. Yellow and grey will always be a classic, but I love this particular shade with bright whites and apple green.

Row 2: Grey cake { Sarah Kay Hospitality Photography/ Sugar Ruffles}; grey watercolour escort cards {Melanie Gabriella}; grey bridesmaid dress

I have to say, I wasn't expecting a grey to be one of my absolute favourites from this new lineup of colours, but in putting this mini-board together, I was completely won over by Lilac Grey. I think it's because, in contrast to the charcoaley greys of the last few years, this has a warm lilac base - I think it's pretty much perfect for a neutral-loving bride.
