Home Grown Irish Wedding Inspiration

Home Grown Irish Wedding Inspiration

via

Morning folks and a big happy St. Patricks Day to you all from Ireland! While a few of us are lazing around this Monday morning after a weekend of celebrating in Dublin (em.. and by a few of us, I think I'm speaking for the entire country after such an amazing rugby match Saturday!) we couldn't deprive you all of some home grown Irish wedding inspiration. Now, after years spent in America, the outdated sterotypes of Ireland and the Irish used to drive me crazy but funnily and surprisingly enough - I found myself missing all things "Irish" while we were away the last six months. As an avid tea drinker, I couldn't get to the kettle quick enough when we walked into our kitchen a month ago and ever since, I've been indulging in all sorts of crazy things like eating taytos for breakfast and devouring entire loaves of homemade brown bread in one seating. So, although I'm the first to shout that Ireland has so much to offer after it's breathtaking countryside, tasty food and drink, world class musicians, sportsmen, writers and so on.. this week I'm bowing down. Our wedding inspiration board today is a nod to all things homely and comforting, all things very, very Irish!
