We're three!

Three years ago today I pressed publish on my first ever blog post! After a year of wedding planning, and weeks after our amazing big day I was still reading 100′s of wedding blogs and in need of my daily fix of pretty. With the support and encouragement of Gaby from SouthBound Bride {I can never thank her enough!} I taught myself WordPress and the etiquette of blogging, Mr B learnt to code and we launched in just two weeks! Three years later, we've re-branded, grown bigger than I ever dreamed and taken on a team of wedding experts known as the b.team. 2014 has marked a huge turning point for b.loved, and in order to support the blog as we tackle some exciting plans we've welcomed Charlie and Maxeen to the Editorial Team too!

The love and support I have received from you, my lovely readers, has been incredible, with over 85,000 of you reading the blog every month, more than 10,000 following us on Twitter, 3,000 on Facebook and 15,000 on Pinterest. I've shared nearly 400 real weddings and love shoots, 150 inspiration boards, 100 styled shoots, launched the b.team Style Guides, and featured more amazing suppliers than I can begin to count!

I've been honoured to work with an ever-growing list of incredibly talented wedding professionals not only publishing their work, but styling shoots that have been featured in the top magazines and blogs both in the UK and overseas. Last year we hosted our first industry event with over 150 guests arriving at a decidedly pretty Trinity Buoy Wharf for an evening of celebration. This year, I'm thrilled to have been asked to partner with Brides Magazine at the Spring Brides The Show as official Blogger Ambassador, a role supporting and promoting the best suppliers the wedding industry has to offer.

Three years ago I would never have believed I could do this. But today I'm making plans for the future, to grow b.loved further than I ever imagined, to work with some of the most talented and respected names in the industry, and to continue to inspire 1000′s of brides daily. Those three years have gone so quickly, and at the same time it feels like a lifetime ago that I wrote that first post. I've learnt a lot, but there is still so much more to learn! I've worked 100+ hour weeks and pulled all-nighters perfecting code ahead of the relaunch, cried when I broke Google Analytics and when I lost all my posts, but for every hard moment, there have been 100 happy ones. I've made life-long friends, visited some of the country's top venues in the name of 'research', attended glamorous awards ceremonies and spend evenings sipping champagne with the industry's finest. It's been hard work, but oh so much fun! I love what I do, and I hope you love reading too!
