Whether you're a model, designer or editor, Fashion Week is when you'll pull out the best your closet has to offer. Here, five stylish insiders share the pieces they'll be investing in for the month-long, four-city Fashion Week whirlwind.

KENDALL JENNER, SUPERMODEL

Kendall Jenner is beloved for her polished take on off-duty style, and you're just as likely to spot her in a sleek jumpsuit as jeans and a t-shirt.

Go-to look: Jeans, booties and a comfortable t-shirt.

Her style in two words: "Comfortably tailored."

KATE FOLEY, FASHION CONSULTANT

Kate Foley's ability to mix bold prints, bright colors, and statement accessories have made her a fixture on street style blogs. For Foley, however, the best part about Fashion Week is spending part of it away from the runway. "I love to go to the pub with friends one night during London Fashion Week," she says. "Any old-y English pub will do."

Go-to piece: "I don't really have any one basic that I always go back to, as I am always wearing totally different pieces. But sometimes I get stuck on only wanting to wear one or two pairs of shoes with everything."

Beauty essential: "NARS Matte Lip pencils in various shades of red-to brighten up my tired face when I'm exhausted!"

TOMOKO OGURA, VINCE BRAND DIRECTOR

You can always spot an industry insider by their no-fuss style, and Tomoko Ogura oozes elegant functionalism. "I'm very practical, so comfort and ease are what I value," she says. "Less is more when it comes to running around the city. I've identified my bare essentials over time and know that's all I need."

Go-to piece: "My number-one basic all year round is denim; it's forever seasonless, timeless, and versatile."

Fashion Week pit-stop: "Le Sot L'y Laisse in Paris. It's a delicious and thoughtful French-inspired restaurant run by a lovely Japanese couple. It's the meal I look forward to every trip to Paris."

TYLYNN NGUYEN, DESIGNER & MODEL

Tylynn Nguyen is known for her eponymous label's luxurious lingerie, which easily transitions into daywear. "I try to vintage shop and look at a ton of abstract art to get inspired," she says. "Reading helps me use my imagination and push my ideas of what I want to make and what I want to wear."

Go-to-piece: "A slip dress! They're so versatile. They are perfect under power jackets worn with sneakers or booties or mules, over a t-shirt, or even worn to bed."

"I love Fashion Week Pit-Stop: Café Cluny in New York and always have to stop there for a little lunchtime inspiration."

MISHA NONOO, DESIGNER

When you think of easy-to-wear pieces to go from office to dinner, Misha Nonoo's cleverly designed shirt dresses and flattering separates should spring to mind. During the chaos of Fashion Week, expect to spot her at downtown New York restaurant Indochine. "Indochine is one of my all-time favorites, and the steamed Chilean sea bass is a must. It's a classic."

Go-to piece: "A white shirt. I like to pair it with a cheeky miniskirt or under a jumpsuit."

Beauty essential: "TRESemmé Perfectly (Un)doneSea Salt Spray to keep that beach vibe going all night long."
