Today's wedding story reads just like a fairytale. Complete with a white knight, a horse, a beautiful damsel and a precious little fairy. Jeanika and Stuart's wedding is intimate and romantic. The lovebirds, surrounded by close friends and family.

Jeanika and Stuart were married in a lovely quaint chapel and celebrated at the scenic venue, Die Akker. The happy newlyweds were photographed by Daniel West, who captured their special day beautifully. Jeanika shares their story...

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

Two of our best friends went for a coffee and invited us along. We just clicked and could not stop talking. We started seeing each other more after that and eventually started dating.

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

Stuart left an envelope with an invitation and rose petals in my postbox for a romantic night out. He picked me up at my house and blind-folded me. When we arrived at the final destination, he led me to a special spot and told me to take the blind fold off. I was surrounded by hundreds of lights and candles and he stood at a romantic set up in his parents fairy tale garden. Some romantic music started playing and he smiled as I walked up to him. When I reached him, he said beautifull things about us and went down on one knee and proposed. I said yes of course!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

When I left the room to walk towards the chapel, it was like time stood still. The outside light was very idyllic like a movie. It was beautifull. And the moment the chapel doors opened and we saw each other we both started crying!

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day

Our wedding day was idyllic, romantic, perfect, very emotional and exciting and sadly went by too fast!

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

When you are walking towards your chapel / wedding, forget about the things you did not do and do not worry about the things that might go wrong. RELAX and enjoy yourself. Take in every moment as well as you can. And EAT! You are paying so much for the food and your guests won't mind if you enjoy your first meal with your new wife/husband. We dished up first and that worked really well!
