Amalfi, Italy Wedding at a Twelfth Century Basilica: Dianne + Rob

via

Dianne + Rob dreamt of an intimate vow exchange along Italy's stunning Amalfi coastline, and with a little luck and some persuasion, actually got the local government to sanction its twelfth century basilica ruins as an official ceremony location so they could get married there - no one was ever allowed to do so before! The couple share, When we were deciding how we wanted our wedding day to be, we asked each other "what would we do if there were no limitations or expectations?". Our first thought was to have an intimate wedding on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. At times the idea seemed pretty bold which made it even more exciting it was to see the day come to fruition.

They invited Heidi + Ryan from Forged in the North along for the adventure and the images the two of them captured are almost too good to be true...

Dianne wore a gorgeous dress by Truvelle and carried a muted bouquet of blooms arranged through their wedding planner, Glam Events in Tuscany.

Seriously, this location just can't be beat.

A celebratory sail around the bay was a must for the newlyweds + their guests who had traveled so far to be there with them.
