Twenty of Italy's finest jewelers are in the US to take part in the inaugural Neiman Marcus ITALIAN JEWELRY FESTIVAL, OCT. 1-18. As the largest retail purveyor of that country's fine jewelry, NM is partnering with the Italian Trade Commission to spotlight famed design houses including Buccellati, Bulgari, Pomellato, and Staurino Fratelli, and such renowned independent designers as Roberto Coin and Marco Bicego, in all 41 NM Precious Jewels Salons.

Country of origin aside, what differentiates the cast of 2O is artistry-a finely honed skill set passed from one generation to the next. A rare breed in the world of mass-produced bijoux, these artisans create by hand, from sorting stones to casting and polishing.

The 18 days' worth of dazzle will feature personal appearances, trunk shows, and parties-including a VIP kickoff at the Italian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
