What was most important for you to include in your wedding? What was your favorite detail? What was your wedding theme or style? How did you choose your theme? Five words (or less) that describe the two of you and your wedding: Your first dance song and why you chose it: What is your advice to couples who are planning weddings now?

My biggest priority was remaining stress-free so I could enjoy the day with my guests, which is why I hired the on-site wedding coordinator. I felt completely at ease knowing I didn't have to deal with any of the day-of stresses. I was glad I was able to enjoy visiting with my friends and family, because many of them had traveled a great distance to be there.

I have two favorite details. First, my dad built the arbor that we stood under for the ceremony, which was very special. He put a lot of time and effort into it, and I loved every detail from the pillars to the crystals he strung together.

Second, I had the same bouquet as my mom and my nana did for their weddings. The big calla lilies in my bouquet came from my mom's garden.

It was always hard for me to put our "theme" into words. I really just wanted it to be simple and classy/elegant. I didn't really know how to choose a theme, so I picked the things I liked, hoping they would blend together.

Excited, Emotional, Thankful

Michael Buble's cover of "The Way You Look Tonight." We both enjoyed Michael Buble's music while we were daring and even attended one of his concerts together, so I knew I wanted to dance to one of his songs. "The Way You Look Tonight" has perfect lyrics for a wedding day, and I've always loved the song.

Get as much done as early as possible. There are always going to be things you didn't think of the week or weekend of, so it's going to be stressful. Not procrastinating on the big stuff helps to alleviate some of that inevitable stress.
