Nicola and Jason headed to Alexandra Palace for their romantic engagement session. I love the relaxed and intimate portraits amongst the pretty cherry blossom.

"When you work in a drab office environment, it's refreshing instead of the usual grey/black/white staple dress code to find someone who not only shuns the usual, but goes right to the edge of the colour spectrum.I first met the lovely Nicola when we worked together at an events company in central London and distinctly remember her wearing a pair of lipstick red shoes. That memory has never left me and to this day I'm not sure if it's because of how fond of colour she is or because she has a personality to match. Nicola is bold, funky and loads of fun.The lovely Jason, who Nicola will marry in a few short weeks, is her perfect match. They laugh almost none stop, are wonderfully sweet with each other and have an amazing time together. I have a feeling that things haven't changed an awful lot since they first met in Thailand. For their engagement session, we met at the fabulous Alexandra Palace and had a relaxed but very giggly walk around the park. Nicola did not disappoint with her choice of a bold turquoise jacket and bright red nails. Jason complimented Nicola with navy blue and a checked shirt. The pair will marry first in Greece, where Jason's parents live and I'll then be heading to Redcoats in Hertfordshire to cover their 2nd big day! This session was captured on digital and beautiful film, scanned and developed by UK Film Lab."
