COUPLE A - Nellie & David "For David and I, it all started out a little over five years ago when I had ran out of gas on the side of the road. It was two o'clock in the morning and I only knew a handful of people who would be up at this hour but none of them were able to help. A friend of mine called me back and told me he was going to send one of his friends to help me. I gave him directions to where I was and thirty minutes later, I met the man who was meant to be my forever. David pulled up behind me with a gas can in hand at my rescue- he was unquestionably my modern day knight in shining armor and I was unquestionably in love with the stranger that stood before me. A handful of days had passed before we had finally gotten in touch. I saw him a couple of times up until I had departed on a trip out of state. It wasn't until after I returned that we got to know one another. We talked about our adventures and places we'd like to travel, as well as everything in between. As our conversations deepened, I got to know him and his witty sense of humor even more, which eventually led to us dating and moving in together. I used to believe that love at first sight was just a cliche that didn't actually exist. But then came the day when all of my beliefs changed for the better. He was my first boyfriend; my first love, and I knew from the moment I met him that he was "the one" and that love at first sight did exist. Towards the end of our first year together, there was no doubt in my mind that he was my person and I was his. As our second, third and fourth year together passed, I began to hope and even pray for a proposal more times than I can count. I patiently waited for exactly 4 years and 10 months for him to ask the question and when he did, it was everything I could have ever hoped for. During the first year we started dating, David began working for a company that required him to travel back and forth a lot, which also meant that he would be gone for weeks at a time. It was hard having to say goodbye to him the first time I drove him to the airport, it was also scary because I was a paranoid flyer and he would be flying frequently. As we were giving one another hugs, I asked him "If anything were to ever happen, would you have married me?" He was understanding to the fact that I needed assurance, so his answer was short, sweet and to the point: "If it did, I would." Now whenever I drop him off at the airport, he tells me the same thing, every single time. On July 5th, we were once again headed to the airport and as we pulled up to departures, he gave me a hug all while reaching in the backseat of our car. When he released me, he said to me "If it did I would, will you marry me?" The journey to get to today has been beautiful in a way that makes me understand what beautiful actually means. I know that if I don't amount to anything else in life that at least I will be able to say I did this one thing right. That one thing was saying "yes" to my knight in shining armor. I used to dream hopelessly about a love like ours and now I have it and here we are 5 years later planning a wedding and our future together. When planning our wedding, we remembered one of the first conversations we ever had was about hoping to one day travel to Italy. We decided it only seemed suiting to make our first time together, be for our wedding. Our hopes for our wedding was for it to be chic and timeless as well as small and intimate, so we invited less than twenty people to share our special day with us. We want to be surrounded by people who support us and more importantly, support love. We also decided on having an unplugged wedding on Lake Como, which to us means no cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. We hope to have everyone there in the moment with us, not looking at us through a screen. We wanted to find a photographer who could capture not just our big day, but the five years of love and devotion that are going into our big day with us. That is why we have decided to share our story with everyone!" COUPLE B - Annette & Karnig It was fate that brought us together. We both met while volunteering our time building a home for a family in need in an Armenian village. At the time, Annette lived in San Francisco where she recently left her job as a lawyer to pursue her passions of jewelry design. Karnig, on the other hand, was living on the other end of the world completing a work assignment in Abu Dhabi. After meeting in Armenia, Karnig moved to the East Cost and Annette moved to Los Angeles. For two years we travelled over 5,000 miles each time to be together. Karnig spent months planning a surprise engagement in Paris. On the evening of our arrival, still jet lagged and sleepy, Karnig proposed - and Annette said 'yes'- giggling from excitement. That weekend, while walking through Paris, we came across a quaint and charming Armenian church near our hotel. We walked in and fell in love with it. When we returned home, we couldn't get it out of our minds. So we called the church and learned that the first available date for a wedding the following year was the exact date we got engaged. At that moment we knew that just like the way we had met, it was fate that had led us there. It had to be the site of our wedding. After meeting abroad, getting engaged abroad, and spending the last two years traveling nearly a quarter of a million miles to see each other, it seems fitting that we get married abroad as well. We are so thrilled to have our family and friends come from all over the world to share in our joy and to experience the beauty of France. COUPLE C - Natalie & Ashley Ashley and I firstly met at work in 2008 where he would come up into the office I was in and always look over at me, and I, knowing full well he was looking, deliberately didn't look and I think that made him more determined to one day catch my eye. We then attended a Christmas do with work that year and started a bit of harmless flirting and discovered that we really liked each other. From then on we started going out for drinks and things naturally blossomed. I then moved in with him about 4 months later. We had been going out for about 4 years and friends around us were getting engaged/married and I asked the question a few times about when he will propose. His words were always 'one day'. This got very frustrating after a while! In August 2012, we arranged a trip to Edinburgh to go to the Fringe festival to meet up with some of my family. My family are Scottish and the majority live there, though in different parts. We stayed with family on the first night, and had arranged to stay in a hotel by ourselves on the second night. After a lovely day out with the family on the second day, I remember they kept trying to leave us to it as obviously knew at the time he planned to propose, where I was none the wiser so kept dragging them around bars with us, before they eventually broke away and we headed back to our hotel to get ready to go out for a meal. I remember the moment he proposed. I was looking out our window in the hotel room as we had a gorgeous panoramic view of Edinburgh Castle and when I turned around, Ashley was down on one knee holding a very small box........ I looked at the box, then back at Ash and he said "Yes, this is really happening!" I literally burst into tears before he had even opened the box. He then produced a disco ball ring. This was a temporary one until we got back, where I could then go and choose one. I laughed about that for a minute before eventually saying yes once I had calmed down! The fact he had chosen to propose in Edinburgh meant the world to me as firstly as my family are Scottish and since knowing Ashley he has fallen in love with the city as much as I had already. We now plan to go back every year to the Fringe festival and it will always be a special place to us. On to the wedding plans. Since getting engaged in August 2012, we didn't actually start looking at venues until July 2013. We started looking in the New Forest and then in Scotland, however found that everywhere we looked was either too expensive or just didn't wow us. We then decided, if we don't find anywhere in England or Scotland that is suitable, we will look abroad. The first place we thought of was Italy, so I got searching the internet. We came across Ravello which is on the Amalfi Coast. As soon as we saw it, we wanted it, it was perfect with stunning views and amazing culture. I got in touch with Exclusive Weddings Italy and they started sending me details of venues. We then found our venue, The Hotel Caruso. The photos I saw online were out of this world so I started pursuing the booking. Ashley and I went to visit the venue at the beginning of November and we couldn't have been more impressed, it exceeded all of our expectations and we know if we were to win this amazing package, that the photographers will not be disappointed. Ravello is one of the most breathtaking places I have ever seen.

How amazing are these couples?! Good luck to everyone involved! You have until midnight Tuesday 9th December to place your votes and give your favourite couple the best Christmas present they could ask for!
