The stylish Monica and Marc of course, him in his dapper dickie bow, and her in her cool feather mini.

Then there's Barcelona's Gothic Quarter, a warren of pretty lanes littered with beautiful buildings and quirky features.

There's also destination wedding photographer Anneli Marinovich, and her the intimate images of the couple and their stomping ground.

But the biggest star of of the show has to be Bruno. The most adorable little pooch we ever did see!

We do love getting to see a new place from a local's perspective, and what better way to catch a glimpse of Spain's second city that with an engagement session as chic, romantic, and playful as this?

And while their pup might be a cutie, when you read Monica and Marc's love story, you'll agree this pair are pretty adorable too!

Let's hear a little bit more about this engagement shoot from the lady behind the lens, Anneli Marinovich.

From the Photographer

As a destination wedding photographer I travel all over the world for weddings and couple shoots. Whilst in Barcelona for an editorial shoot in October, I met up with Spanish couple Monica and Marc for their engagement shoot. They brought their cute Red Toy Poodle, Bruno with them. A very stylish couple, Monica and Marc lived in London for a couple of years but now call Barcelona home. They are planning to tie the knot next July on the Costa Brava and I'm looking forward to capturing their wonderfully Spanish al fresco wedding.

Engagement Session Snapshot

From Monica & Marc

We met each other for the first time at a youth party in the little town called Palamós where we were both born. It was love at first sight, but thanks to our own innocence and shyness we became and only stayed friends at first. The years flew by and even though the two of us began our adult lives separated by thousands of miles, we always kept in touch. In the summer of 2010 our paths crossed again and that's where our story really started. I (Marc) realised it was time to make up for lost time and Monica began to feel the old feelings she used to feel for me, again. On a magical night in May 2014 the magnificent Eiffel Tower in Paris was the only and very special witness to my proposal to Monica. She said yes and next Summer we will solidify our unique love for each other with a wedding on the Costa Brava.

Oh I love hearing stories of childhood sweethearts and rekindled romance - congratulations Monica and Marc (and Bruno!).

Thanks to Anneli Marinovich, and of course, Monica and Marc, for sharing this chic engagement shoot with us.

Be inspired for your own engagement session with these unique shoots.
