Here at MDC, we are lucky enough to have a panel of experts to sound off on those topics that leave the everyday girl scratching her head. Today, for example, we asked hair guru Zachary Morad to shed some light on a hot hair topic: bangs.

I truly believe every girl should try bangs at least once in her life. That being said, there seems to be a common fear among women when it comes to adding some fringe to their 'dos. Truthfully, not every look is right for every girl. However, there are a variety of options when it comes to bangs and with a little help from me, you'll be able to find the cut that suits you best! Let's weigh the pros and cons of my favorite looks!

Side-Swept

Nothing is sexier to me than a deep side-swept bang. It's a relaxed and effortless look that can often support itself with very little styling. Simply, create soft, side bangs along starting from a drastic part on the side of your choosing. The result is a low-maintenance look that gives your face definition and shape and can be easily changed or adjusted.

Pros: These bangs are easy to maintain, require little commitment and styling, are easy to grow out and are a great way to minimize your forehead

Cons: None!

Blunt

I love a chic classic. From 1920s flappers to the recent high-fashion 'dos dominating the runways, blunt bangs have stood the test of time. If you're a girl that likes to live on the cutting edge of style, this bold look it for you.

Pros: These bangs are agreat option for those with cowlicks, as the weight of a heavy, blunt bang will help to suppress the wayward hair. For more ways to counter cowlicks, read this!

Cons: These bangs need to be trimmed regularly to maintain their blunt lines; They are also not the easiest style to grow out.

Wispy

Long, wispy bangs are a great way to go if you're interested in trying out a new look but don't want a heavy commitment. Having wispy bangs will not only work with most hair types, but they also flatter most face shapes.

Pros:
These bangs offer a variety of styling options, as they can be brushed back or to the to the side. They are also super-versatile and can be worn with short or long hairstyles;. They're also super easy to grow out!

Cons:
Because of their feather-like cut, these bangstend to get greasy quickly. MDC Tip: To fight the grease, try spraying them with some dry shampoo. We love Pureology Fresh Approach Dry Shampoo.

Rounded

I always find rounded bangs to be a modern and sleek look. Can't picture them? Think Anne Hathaway in "The Devil Wears Prada." Rounded bangs are sharply angled contouring your face making them a great look for anyone! Whether you prefer them full and thick or a bit shaggy, it's a great route to go if you're looking to refresh your hairstyle!

Pros:
This look is very modern. They can usually be worn to the side or parted in the middle for an alternate look.

Cons
:To maintain the right length and sharp angles, these bangs need to be trimmed regularly.
