Scorching summer days let me think of light and refreshing cocktails. Some people say that drinking hot beverages make you sweat more and thus you stay cool but I opt for cold drinks anyway. I'm not too keen on alcoholic beverages but a cool breezer on a romantic evening on my balcony will make me fine. Sitting with Manu, watching the stars and sipping a Sparkling White Peach Sangria. That's my plan for her birthday evening :D The Kitchn has come up with an ideal recipe for this occasion. I adore peaches so combining them with slightly sweet and spritzy white wine is the fulfillment of my dreams, especially when you get the fruit out of the bottom of the drink and taste its delicate flavour.
