From Emily: "Hilary is a dear friend of mine, and when I couldn't make it to her wedding last September, I wanted to treat her to a bridal session as a wedding gift. Really, I just wanted to see my friend in her pretty white dress! I loved everything about this time with Hilary. The golden sun. Her adorable puppy, Lucy. The bouquet and floral crown Hilary and her mom made with simple store-bought flowers. The sequin jacket I grabbed from my closet as we were heading out the door. Everything in these images reflects something about Hilary, her love for the outdoors, color or handmade things, and I'm so happy I got to capture her sweet joy as a newlywed in these pictures!"
