A photography lover from an early age, Tarah received her first film camera when she was 16 and it has never left her side since! Spending every day in the darkroom, Tarah worked in a variety of creative industries, films, fashion and newspapers, before finding her niche in wedding photography and has never looked back.

Let's find out more about the lady behind the lens: " Being a wedding photographer means not just having a great eye for a photo or being able to anticipate a moment before it happens. Above all, you need to be a people person. None it means anything unless people feel comfortable enough to relax around you and I love that my clients feel that way about me. The biggest compliment I can get from my clients is that I felt like a guest on the day or that they didn't notice I was there unless they needed me.

No wedding day is the same and I love the build up over the weeks of planning when clients update me on their plans and then the moment when I arrive and see it all come together! I photograph in stately homes, on farms and in farmhouses, in barns, in back gardens, at the seaside, in the mountains, in chateaux, in vineyards.Weddings in France offer so many stunning venues, fantastic food and the chance to photograph in beautiful light. It is wonderful that I get to be invited to be a part of their lives, experiencing their wedding day with them from the moment they start getting ready, the emotion of the ceremony, the excitement of greeting friends and family after they are married, the stolen moments of calm when it's just the two of them and the hilarity of the speeches and dancing. I love every part of the day which is why it is so important to me that I am there all day to tell the whole story. I think I have the best job in the world! I get to meet lovely people, some of which have remained friends and I feel so lucky every day. It really is a dream come true for me to be a photographer and do something I love every single day. Sometimes I have to pinch myself!
