Truer words have never been spoken, and we certainly could not have said it better ourselves. What makes this such an exciting wedding you ask? If Carnival games, candy, and pony rides don't convince you keep on scrolling. Tracy and Collin's fun and games wedding doesn't have to end at the bottom of this post...don't forget we have a full gallery stuffed with even more! Tracy and Collin are an amazing couple, both with special needs, who fell in love and wanted to get married. They are two of the kindest people I have ever met and it was such an honor to plan their wedding day. Their supportive family was there every step of the way coming up with some wonderful ideas and ways to make it more personal for the couple.
When asked what they wanted for their wedding the bride immediately said, "I want a Country Fair." She loves country music and she wanted a fair complete with games, a petting zoo, and a pony. Then I asked about colors and she said she wanted every color of the rainbow but her very favorite was pink! I couldn't have been more excited to create this gorgeous wedding for this incredible couple! The ceremony was a celebration of love. The bride walked down the aisle to " Storybook Love" from the Princess Bride. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were all nieces and nephews of the bride and groom and at the end of the ceremony they did a butterfly release with with over 300 beautiful monarch butterflies. 
This wedding has so many great aspects but one of our favorites was Tracy and Collins wedding wish tree. Wedding wishes and advice were given an added touch of whimsy when guests were asked to display them on an imitation tree for everyone to see.
They had an acoustic guitarist play for the ceremony and cocktail hour and then they had a DJ to dance the night away. The grooms greatest interest is music, he has an extensive record collection, and adores the Beatles, so the music choices were a combination of the grooms love of rock and roll and the brides love for country music.We also set hay bails next to the dance floor for kids and guests to sit and watch the dancing. 
Their menu included a gourmet Mac & Cheese Bar, the Bride's choice, and a gourmet Fish Taco Bar, the Grooms choice. Held at the families private home in Solana Beach, brightly colored tables with carnival ticket centerpieces were situated among the carnival games and petting zoo. One thing is certain, this is one wedding their guests (and all of us at WC) will not soon forget!
Are you thinking of having a kid friendly wedding? Or maybe you are just hoping to let your inner child out for the day. Either way, you should take a few pointers from Tracy and Collin's dessert bar. It truly rivals anything you might find in Willy Wonka's candy factory! With cupcakes, cake pops, cotton candy, and so many candy options it will give you a sugar rush just looking at it.
To top off this outstanding wedding day, Starbucks coffee was provided to accompany a tasty carnival themed wedding cake. But the surprises didn't end there, rainbow layers were revealed to everyone when Tracy and Collin cut the cake. It was the perfect end to the country fair wedding, and nothing short of fabulous.
