Enamoured.

It's here. It's finally arrived. Yes lovelies, I can AT LAST share the ridiculously pretty spring-filled, heart-shaped extravaganza that is 'Enamoured' - Rock My Wedding's first editorial shoot of 2014.

If you stopped by the blog yesterday then you'll have read my post on the inspiration for this love inspired shoot. You'll know then that we wanted a girly feast of heart-shaped balloons, champagne and more shoes than you could ever imagine.

And so we set about sourcing the very best petals and marshmallows and candy floss and glitter and love hearts and mini eggs and heart-shaped glasses and ribbons and shoes that the world had to offer.

Your six year old self would be proud.

Every single shoot from 2013 took place outdoors, in sun-drenched meadows, under fecund branches of wisteria, in forests and dappled glades. Hell we even went to the beach! For 2014, we decided to move our creative vision indoors against a back-drop of off-white floorboards and ummm bathtubs...

More on the bathtubs later...

And who were we going to use to capture our romantic capers? Well that would be the lovely Julia from Julia & You Photography. Her talent for capturing beautiful detailing and romantic outlook suited our vision perfectly and we are bowled over by the results.

Let's take a look...

We were lucky enough to call on two uber-talented designers when it came to foxy frockage. Suzanne Neville and Naomi Neoh provided us with beautiful lace, tulle and softly coloured dresses designed with the romantic bride in mind which we paired up with two beauty looks that I'll describe in more detail shortly.

Hearts were always going to be the order of the day - from marshmallows to sunglasses to garlands and BALLOONS. We might have gone a little bit overboard on the balloon agenda actually but I couldn't resist. After all what could be more romantic that a girl Naomi Neoh's beautiful blue chiffon gown clutching a plethora of pink and red balloons with a floral corsage on her wrist...

Perhaps a girl in a bathtub with pillar box red heart balloons instead?

Or maybe it's the felt heart shaped garlands that have caught your eye? I spotted these beauties over at Pelemele's shop over on Etsy and couldn't resist. Add some dress-up sparkly hats and some quirky sunglasses and you're away.

Those of you looking for something with drama will probably adore Suzanne Neville's blush coloured ' Siren Mae ' - a deliciously ruffled affair that we knew would harmonise perfectly with our champagne tower.

Just look at that train go.

I always had very specific vision for the beauty looks for 'Enamoured', cue lots of moodboard action and emails between myself and the make-up guru that is Melissa Greening. The first look was all about the 'kitsch' with candy cotton pink lips and a really fresh dewy face. Waved hair, gently pulled off the face and accessorised with a pink silken bow at the back, finished the look. Later it was all about ramping up the look for the more sophisticated bride; textured, mussed up hair with come-to-bed eyes.

I adore the looks that Melissa created for us - particularly the soft smokey eye which I'll be giving a whirl in the very near future (the exact products used and the how-to is coming to RMW in the next two weeks folks.)

Florist extraordinaire Karen Morgan from Passion For Flowers produced all of the delicious blooms for 'Enamoured'. Lashings of the most delicate blossoms in butter-soft pinks, delicate whites and sunshiny yellows filled the shoot with fragrance and colour.

From the oversized colour-pop tulip bouquet (you NEED this in your life) to the exquisite pink tulip and lithianthus corsage, everything Karen produced encapsulated the spirit and colours of Spring and love.

Karen also produced the foliage garland that provided the most magnificent backdrop to the prettiest sleeved lace gown by Naomi Neoh. ' Fleur ' was the perfect dress for Tess to channel her inner Grace Kelly.I love the sleeve detail; it's so intricate and delicate you really wouldn't need to wear anything else at all.

A smaller yet equally beautiful posy of broom, lithianthus, narcissi and hellebores was the perfect accompaniment to Tess's tousled hair and beautiful emerald teardrop earrings from Liberty In Love. How many of you lovelies are considering wearing statement jewellery on your big day?

No editorial shoot of ours feels complete without a confectionary treat. We've never actually gone full pelt on the Dessert Table agenda yet 'Enamoured' gave us the perfect opportunity to do so.

Cue Charlotte from Buttercream and Dreams ...

Set against a chalky blue backdrop, our dessert table was filled to bursting with the prettiest treats you ever did see. Charlotte baked her way to perfection creating frosted cupcakes and coconut ices, rocky roads and the biggest PINKEST cake I've ever seen.

It was a triumph.

We added some sparklers and some blooms, a heart garland and a calligraphied sign to complete the look - we'll actually be providing this as a download for you folks so stay tuned.

We deliberately kept the table pared back...well more simple than we usually do anyway allowing the eighteen crystal decanters filled to the brim with beautiful anemones, broom and tulips to shine. From the outset I knew I wanted to use our blush sequin tablecloth as a wide runner (because it's just so darned pretty) and accessorised with floral plates and blush pink napkins and a floral favour at each setting. Antique knives and forks were bound with candy coloured silk ribbons to finish the look.

We saved Suzanne Neville's ' Ballet' for the finale. How could we not? All frothy pink tulle that billowed around our model Tess like a cloud. It seemed only right to pair it with a delicate circlet of flowers from Liberty in Love as she reclined after trying on hundreds of pairs of shoes from Aruna Seth. I think she looks like sleeping beauty waiting for her prince.

And it's there we'll leave you, to pin to your heart's content if you're so inclined or perhaps to place a mammoth order of heart shaped balloons. You know you want to...

So are any of you girls inspired by our heart-shaped adventures?

You will let us know if you are, won't you?

All my love Lolly xxx

P.S. Those suede beribboned beauties? I NEED them in my life!
