Romantic Pink & Grey Outdoor Wedding in Ontario - Whimsical...

Marlee and Bryan are childhood sweethearts, they began dating in school and as they say the rest is history.

Their wedding celebration was so very special. Sweet pink and grey hues were used throughout. Think pastel maids and gypsophila bouquets with the gents in pale grey suits. Their outdoor ceremony which included their daughter looked just perfect. I especially love Marlee's colour pop yellow Toms, so fun.

Thanks so much to Nicole Amanda Photography for sharing these wonderful images today.

FROM THE BRIDE | Bryan and I went to elementary and high school together, although he was in the year above me so we only really knew of each other. We both took a grade 12 calculus class together and then started hanging out in the same circle of friends when we both ended up in an outdoor education course. I think our first "semi-official" date was a trip into Kanata where we went and saw Meet the Robinsons. We ate at Boston Pizza and then went to the movie. I remember holding hands and feeling pretty bashful about it. I was head over heels pretty much from the get-go. I wear my heart on my sleeve. It was hard because we had just started going on dates and spending time together right before he left for school in Oshawa. It was hard because being a new relationship, we weren't sure if it would be something that would work out being 3 hours away from one another. I knew that once he came home at Thanksgiving and everything felt the same, like nothing had changed, that the relationship was strong and meant to be. We had been dating for just over 5 years, living together for about one. It was Mother's Day 2012 and I was massively pregnant with our first child (due just 6 days later) and felt like doing absolutely nothing. It was hot. Our place didn't have any air conditioning and my feet were puffy (cute, I know). So as an attempt to cool off/walk around Bryan suggested we go walk the mall. When we got there, we looked around a bit and ended up in a jewellery store. Bryan asked me what rings I liked and it just kind of went from there. I tried on a bunch of rings and found one that I loved and he bought it right then! Bryan will tell you that his knee was "all jacked up," and that's why he couldn't get down on one knee to technically ask me to marry him, but a couple of days later we were visiting family and he wanted me to be wearing my ring. I didn't want to wear the ring unless he asked the question! So we were sitting in my car and he looked over and officially asked me.
