Your wedding day morning will go by in a flash. There is much to be done from hair, makeup, last minute details, transportation, and so much more! We constantly advocate scheduling a bit of downtime for a bride to really take in the whole day: how special and beautiful she feels. One wonderful idea is taking out a tiny bit of time with your photographer and having a few morning of photos taken while prepping for the day. The idea of a beautifully simple and natural 'bridal boudoir' session sounds quite lovely, especially when done by film photographer Ashley Ludaescher!

Boudoir sessions don't always have to be in revealing clothing in a studio with harsh lighting. We love seeing lots of lace, something with a bit of sparkle like perhaps a headpiece, and natural lighting...

From Ashley Ludaescher: "This was a really fun collaboration with Tatiana Ashakova, who is a super creative and talented hair and makeup stylist. She also designs really beautiful hair accessories that our model wore in the shoot as well. Tatiana sourced a beautiful couture dress from Joyce Young and delicate slips from Shell Belle Couture. Hurriyet made us a beautiful bouquet and garland which I wrapped around our gorgeous model, Julia. I love the idea of a bride setting aside a bit of time on the morning of the wedding for a short boudoir session and bridal portraits."
