Another Friday and I have a fabulous spontaneous elopement to Paris for you today trulovers, captured by Juliane Berry Photography! Sometimes you don't need logic or rationale to tell you an idea is right, it is just a feeling and that is exactly what happened for today's newlyweds Nina & Stefano from Brooklyn, NY.

Nina is the owner of Nina Ferrer Inc, HGTV Design Star (Season 5), as well as Style Network Host and Designer and a postcard with the caption "We've eloped to Paris" was all the encouragement they needed to head off to the city of love for a chic and stylish wedding.

Nina shares with us their wedding day plans and what it is like getting married in the capital of style and romance. Nina: "Why Paris? It's very us. I am an architect/artist, Stefano has roots in Europe and we both love to travel.

Eloping in Paris was a spontaneous idea. We came across a post card on the internet that said "we've eloped to Paris" and looked at each other and immediately knew that was how we were going to get married. The day was seamless and perfect. Our wedding Is one the happiest memories we have shared together. It was just the two of us and it was so romantic. Our photographer Juliane Berry was so easy to work with and her photos are to die for. Our commencement officiant Pierre was amazing at how he put our words together at the ceremony, we cried it was so touching. We also had a vintage car we scooted around Paris in and it was all just perfection. I couldn't have dreamed something better. My dress was custom made by Rebecca Schoneveld. Rebecca was amazing given the fact we planned everything in less then three months. I am still in love with my dress. Stefano was very impressed with the dress when he saw it on me for the first time on our wedding day. He still says he has yet to see a more beautiful dress. My shoes were Giuseppe Zanotti. I wore a necklace my husband had previously given me "Pisces" for my Zodiac sign, a bracelet he had purchased in Paris the morning of the wedding that says "love" and diamond stud earrings, the first gift Stefano had ever given me. I had "I do" in blue rhinestones on the bottom of my shoe and I carried a vintage beaded bag from my Grandmother. Stefano wore cuff links I had purchased for him in Paris that morning. He wore a Burberry suit and custom shirt and looked absolutely stunning. I did my own hair and makeup. We had a private two person pre party with sushi and champagne in our hotel room.

There is nothing I would change about the day and I am so lucky that our photos reflect just how amazing the experience was. We listened to french café music after we got back to NY for months to try and hold onto that amazing experience. As the saying goes "we will always have Paris. "
