Anne-Marie and Pier-Alexandre's love story all started at a university football game. "Pier-Alexandre was sitting in front of me, next to a guy I had studied with a few years prior," explains Anne-Marie. "He barely talked to me until I told his friend how impolite he was.

Charlotte and Leo, originally from Brighton but currently living in Liverpool, knew they wanted to marry in the city where they met. So they planned their wedding from afar and booked out an entire guest house right on the sea front to accommodate their guests! A Room with a View has nine guest rooms and was the perfect place for everyone to get ready. The floor to ceiling windows looking over the beach and pier made for some great photos from Lisa Devlin too!

We love us a good pop-up wedding. You know, where a couple has a mostly impromptu wedding in a usually public location? We've seen them planned out and totally on-the-fly. Either way, these elopement-style ceremonies are so fun. This pop-up gay wedding at Santa Monica Pier in California was very public, ultra gorgeous, and super colorful.

Tina and Dave were married at The Grand Pier, Weston Super Mare. Their wedding was a colourful mix of all the things they love. "Tina and I met in the summer of 2010 on a booze cruise organised by our workplace", wrote Dave. "She arrived with her pink hair in curls wearing a 50s polka dot dress, tattoo print shoes and red lipstick. I fell in love that night."

I'm pretty sure taking engagement photos in Los Angeles without visiting the beach would be a crime-we definitely did not want to miss the opportunity to walk along the shore and the pier with our paparazzo in tow. I think you can tell that we had loosened up a bit by this point in the day.

Leann and Doug's North Vancouver wedding at the Pinnacle Pier Hotel had a lot of charm and one of the most adorable first dances ever. In almost 11 years together, this was the first time they had ever danced together. Apparently the happy tears were overflowing.
