This modern Jewish wedding is such a feast for the eyes. From Tash's incredible black and grey wedding gown, the stylish chuppah they married under, the incredible dancing, the sense of family and community that comes through every ritual of the day. Choosing St Kilda for their wedding festivities, photographer Joseph Koprek captured the day.

The pairing of Grey Collective Members Arte de Vie and Blue Gardenia Events produces absolute perfection in Joia and Louie's wedding at the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center. At once simple and visually impactful, the ceremony details included white, orchid-filled ceremony florals, chuppah and bouquet by Bee's Wedding & Event Design in the industrial light-filled space.

The wedding ceremony is one of the many times the bride and groom get to be at the center of attention on their special day. Thankfully, Jewish tradition ensures all eyes are on you with the spotlight of a chuppah.

Syreeta and David's at The Peninsula is modern Chicago elegance. Kehoe Designs worked with a clean color palette of silver, black, and ivory to transform the Peninsula's ballroom for the ceremony, with a classic white uplit chuppah and lush florals elevated in black urns.

Driftwood is one of those elements you don't necessarily expect to see in wedding decorations, but when you do, it takes your breath away. Tory Williams and Brita Olsen Creative recently worked together to bring us this styled wedding shoot full of soft pink flowers, ivory tones, and yes, driftwood centerpieces complemented by a birchwood chuppah for the ceremony.

Starting out Gabrielle and Laura's wedding day at Emerald City Trapeze started it off with a bang with some high-flying photos. Their custom-made dresses, book paper flower bouquets, and luminous chuppah were a total highlight, The reception had an ice cream bar, traditional hora, and tons of string lights.

Chuppahs, or wedding canopies, are a gorgeous Jewish wedding tradition, and we love the creativity they allow when it comes to design. I love the different cultures that come out to play when a wedding ceremony is conducted and one of my favourites is the history and tradition of a chuppah. Chuppahs of Melbourne is a company I recently stumbled across who have a beautifully modern take on this tradition, creating pieces that are as home on the beach as they are in a garden or hall.

This pair may have originally wanted a small wedding, but their family-focused book-loving wedding ended up being just right. We are loving the pink dress, gorgeous ombre chuppah (that took nine months to make!), and super special mom/daughter walk down the aisle.
