Hayley and Marty were married at the historic Mcleod Bay Church in Whangarei Heads, New Zealand. It is the church of the early settlers of the small coastal area where Marty grew up. "We are both creative people so this is really what influenced our wedding", the bride began.

Today's post is a reader request! Marrying in August, this Polka Dottie is in search of a coverup for her late winter wedding. She's having a rustic style and looking for something that isn't delicate or sequined, a little more casual if you will!

Tore and Mari didn't have a huge wedding budget, in fact they had less than £5000 to spend. However they knew they wanted fantastic photographs, so in order to fit him into their budget, they hired Eirik Halvorsen for just a few hours to cover the ceremony and some quick portraits afterwards.

I'm not sure there's anything cooler than having your wedding officiated by a superhero! Emily and Eric's Saratoga Springs wedding wasn't really themed though, they just picked random things that they liked and threw them all together. "Our wedding was casual with a touch of vintage, and rustic," said the bride.

Iris and Josef planned their entire wedding by themselves. They wanted something casual and fun rather than formal and stuffy, so they chose to have their reception in a park in Regensburg, Germany. "We wanted everybody to feel comfortable", they explained. "So there were no rules, only a lot of friends and good spirits.

Ana and Juanjo met through work. After dating for seven years they had their son, Mario, and seven years after that, on June 20th this year, they were married in Casares Costa, Spain. "We didn't have any particular theme for our wedding, we just wanted to be us and our guests to be themselves!", Ana said.

The beautiful wedding of Anna and Luke took place at Victorian Marriage Registry, Melbourne followed by a casual lunch at Golden Orchids Malaysian Restaurant (where they had their first date!) and an evening reception at North Fitzroy Star. Nothing about this wedding was traditional.

Timo and Kriss were officially married on March 18th. They had an intimate ceremony, just a few of them, and then a bigger Cinco De Mayo inspired reception a couple of days later. The bride wore an amazingly colourful skirt made for her by a friend.

Isabela and Felipe's Brazilian wedding had a casual and boho vibe. They were married at a concert venue in Sao Paulo. The day was simply a mash up of things they both liked. "We didn't want anything uniform or traditional", said the bride.

Anna and Evan were married in Cork. Their wedding was super casual and very colourful. The bride wore a dress from ASOS and there was plenty of DIY. "My love for arts, crafts and bright colours inspired our wedding", Anna said, "also our love of music and having fun with our friends.

Kate and Dan wanted a big celebration for their May wedding, but one that was also relaxed for their guests and a lot of fun. They wanted to involve them in the day as much as possible and not only had their guests bring cakes instead of gifts, which were eaten instead of a traditional wedding cake, but sent everyone a little packets of seeds with their invitations, asking them to grow the flowers and bring them along on the day. The crappy weather in the run up to the wedding meant that a lot of the flowers didn't grow very much but everyone still valiantly brought along their little seedlings to show the couple and to display at the wedding. Don't you just utterly love that idea?!
