White Wedding Of Kayinsola and Tolulope by Genesis Paparazzi Photography
A very interesting story, one beautiful bride and the most interesting couple ever. I am more than thrilled to have this wedding story up for our pleasure. Kayinsola’s wedding colors also thrills us as you don’t see such color combination used often in Naija ( Teal and Mint). The bridesmaids using handfan is also very chic! A dream come true experience and every girly girls wish for a fairy tale wedding. Thanks to Genesis Paparazzi photography who shared this with us! Have fun reading.. How we met from Bride: Let’s say our meeting was destined. I met my hubby in Abuja through a mutual friend. It was funny really.m I remember my first thought was “what’s it with him”? Cos he kept giving me one word answers! Suddenly, he couldn’t keep his eyes off me, as he just kept staring at me so much so that our mutual friends whom when where with also noticed. The next day he called me and a long friendship started. This lasted for Eight good years! Wedding Planning: I loved every little part of d planning but the details I loved best was the detailing that went into my [...]

NYSC Wedding, The IntimateTraditional Wedding By Spotless Photography
Beads, Beads and more Beads! The south south Nigerian brides are well known for their beads and we are loving this inspiration. It is simple and very fitting on her. The traditional wedding of Mr and Mrs Omojafoh is just one of the weddings that most naija brides can relate with.
Latest Naija Wedding Songs
In Nigeria, these days most of our latest fast beat songs makes the rounds on the wedding day. No more slows or blues. and the best part is that there is no definite song used for a section of the wedding. The D’j's just blasts on most times and we all tend to enjoy ourselves singing and dancing along. Forget the blues, just naija ‘hip hops. Only exception is perhaps Father/ Mother’s dance. But quite lately, they’ve been some love songs that have been on the airwave and making rounds in weddings too. Here are some of the songs that are really trending the wedding charts. Not necessarily in the most popular order. But here we go. 1, Ada Ada by Flavour- Altho , it’s shows the igbo tradition but it’s still very popular among st many culture 2, Today-Today by Eldee- A no brainer 3, Kukere by Iyanya- Am not surprised at this. The song is very contagious 4, Oyi Remix by Flavour Ft. Tiwa Savage- This good feeling song was nailed by Tiwa in it. 4, Love My Baby by Wizkid – Always a favorite this one 5, Remember ( Yori, Yori) by Bracket Ft. 2Face 6, Beautiful Oyinye [...]
Georges Hobeika Fashion Friday Inspiration Part 13
Lately we've been thinking whether Naija's are really the ballgown type. My doubt was swept away with pleasure when I set my eyes on Mo Abudu's dinner dress. Just recently, MoAbudu of Ebony TV celebrated her 50th birthday and guess what she wore- a stunning ball gown from Oscar De La Renta.

Blue Sapphire and Bronze Gold Wedding Color
The good thing about having your wedding in Naija is that with colors, you’ve got absolutely no problem. One is not able to tie it down to anything. We have our fruits in almost all seasons and only have the dry weather to deal with in the latter part of the year. Having said that, I am currently hearting the Sapphire Blue color and wish to see more of this. Pop out colors like this are always best used with a neutral / nude color for a tone down effect but if you wish, one could still add others like pastels and even sunflower yellow to it. In today’s color board, I am pairing with bronze gold. A lovely color to use as an alternative to using Gold. This secondary color can be seen used in your accessories, program, favors, gifts, wedding cake and table wares. Blue gives a soothing effect but sapphire blue evokes creativity, power and good judgement. I particularly like the groom’s simple nude suit wear. With a nude color like that, one can then incoporate your wedding color easily. The Groom below can easily wear his boutonniere or bow tie in Sapphire blue or leave it [...]
Jide Alakija Presents The Traditional Wedding Of Michelle and Jide In lagos
This classy wedding was actually meant to be featured lastweek. Issues with local internet provider but nevertheless, am glad to be able to still feature this today. This traditional wedding of Michelle and Jide is one of those intimate and classy traditional wedding that is pleasantly different from the norm in naija ( Chaotic). The bronzy gold Gele and Ikpele worn by Michelle on her lace material really stands out. One good thing about using a neutral color is it’s versatility in blending with almost all colors. Notice that the families and friends could now easily wear a color without the threat of clashing with the color of the couple’s attire. Fantastic shots by Alakija’s Studio and one of the most beautiful Nigerian couple ever. Here are some of my favourite shots. HML Michelle and Jide!
