We're staring down the final weeks of the 2015 Lovesick Expo tour. This past weekend in Seattle was fucking awesome, with 600 people rocking out at the Showbox Sodo while The Good Co rocked out on stage and Miss Indigo Blue took her clothes off and some of our favorite Seattle vendors worked their magic, and a Unicorn worked the door and really, it was just a big bangin' party and a lot of fun for a lot of people.

Lovesick Expo Seattle happened yesterday and... holy shit, my friends. That was pretty much the best day-drunk party I've been to in years. I might be biased because it was my hometown show, but that's the thing about Lovesick: yes, it's a wedding expo, but the goal for all of us producing the event is that it basically just feels like a great fucking party.

Alyssa and Kirsten met playing rugby together, then Alyssa moved across the world as they just started dating. So cards, letters, and long distance phone calls were the order of the day. Ten years later, they're happy together with their fur babies, Ziggy and Yeti.

If you've been reading for a while, you know that we've teamed up this year with the Lovesick Inc boys to spread guy-friendly, gay-friendly, offbeat-friendly wedding expos across the US. I spent the past two weekends back east at the Lovesick Expo shows, womanning the Offbeat Bride booth (which was really just me sitting on a table) in Brooklyn, Philadelphia, and Boston.

There are only three expos left of the 2016 Lovesick Expo tour, you guys. This is the first year that I am making it to EVERY SINGLE EXPO, and my Alaska Airlines frequently flyer miles are definitely starting to stack up. New York, Philly, Boston, Atlanta? You were all amazing.

Stephanie and Justin were inspired to rock a killer animal mask engagement shoot, inspired by the masks of Wintercroft Masks. They ultimately chose a fox and a bear mask, which turned out to be an awesome choice. Justin made the masks out of cereal boxes, tape, and paint and they looked phenomenal.

Every detail of Alisha and Ben's eccentric Denver bicycle wedding was handmade by a family member or friend (even the dress!). The day started out with a costumed bicycle ride around the city and Ben was adorned in a wedding gown and a sash.

Some colored crinoline, flowers in beer bottles, and of course local brews abound at this beer-themed, Denver courthouse and brewery wedding. You'll love the bride's favorite moment (hint: it involved a first look!). Plus, you'll never guess what the guests did after the bride's Irish stepdancing performance!

When dreaming up the vibe for their wedding day, city dwellers, Ellen + Bruce, were inspired by the idea of turning a modern, industrial space into an "urban fairytale" filled with greenery, florals and a cozy indoor-garden feel. You guys won't believe the sweet story behind today's intimate elopement at Weathervave Cafe in Denver, Colorado. Ashley + Remo came all the way from Italy to say their I Dos at the coffee shop where they first met and the beauty was captured perfectly by Our Love Is Loud, who A + R hired after finding right here on GWS!!

Chad and Renza completely lucked out with the timing of their wedding at the Denver Botanic Gardens last July - the gardens were filled with installations of blown glass from artist Dale Chihuly! I'm an enormous fan of Chihuly glass, so I was super excited to see what a wedding would look like amid his bold and colorful art.

Laid back couple Tina and Rob wanted a wedding that celebrated their love of Denver. Instead of doing anything traditional, they decided to plan their wedding as if it was their perfect day in the city. Their ceremony was held in the garden of The Populist and their reception at Infinite Monkey Theorem Wine Lab.
