One of the creative challenges I'm in during quarantine is a photography one created by my dear friends @pau_soberanes and @gusperez_photo . The very first challenge was to "take a photo of your first memory." Say whaaat? My first memory is very vivid. I can remember very well climbing my crib to escape from it when I was almost two years old. I know you might think I was tiny, and it is improbable someone can remember that, but I sware I do. I remember my crib; I remember climbing it and getting out of it to go to my parent's bedroom. And I think I remember it vividly because I might have seen a picture of that very moment. My parents took a picture of my escape, and years later, it is a jewel to me. Images help us recreate memories. That is why they are so precious. That is why we put all our energy, efforts, and heart into what we do. Talking to past clients that have become friends, I've collected beautiful stories about how their wedding images have become a treasure because of how meaningful they are. They help them remember how excited or nervous they were, how they looked like, how it felt to be hugged by their loved ones. So thankful to be a photographer, especially these days, where we are learning again to connect with people and being creative on ways to do so with social distance. Go to your albums and check out how much you can remember from each photo you have. It is a beautiful exercise to do, feel the love and emotions. It is the best time to do this.
