"There comes a point in planning a wedding where you have to let go of the reins or else you won’t be able to enjoy the day. In the week leading up to the wedding, I decided to just let things happen and not try and be in control. Not everything on the day was exactly how I would have done it but I also had the best day of my life and looking back now all I can remember was how much fun I had." We had to hand this Friday muse over to beautiful bride Rachael (pictured here with her bridesmaids) because that wisdom? So important to remember. When you have this oh so important day to live, it can be difficult, inf atc impossible to let it go to trust in the people you chose to make it amazing for you and to settle into the ride and just go with it. But oh, it is so very worth it. We highly endorse taking the week off work before your wedding day, if you can manage it and make sure as many wedding things are ticked off that list as possible. Tick those DIY tasks, those last-minute projects off the list before that week, so you can just relax, so you can revel in family and friends arriving, can sit in the moment and can process what is about to happen. Oh and we also endorse watching as any wedding movies as you can (Father Of The bride is my absolute favourite of course) What do you think? Did you manage to let go?
