autumn = hostess season (to me, at least). I’ve always loved this photo of Jackie O by Orlando Suero, it makes me excited to bunker down for a season of cozy dinner parties, where jeans and a favorite sweater pair perfectly with wedding china, pretty linens, that fancy crystal you’ve hidden in a closet somewhere and lots of candles, and overall, inspires me to create tablescapes that will make guests feel like family. I say it every season, but this one is my favorite.
