"My Mom, sister and I send out annual Valentine's Day cards (we do them instead of Christmas cards!) and we were hiking up to an overlook that has an amazing view of our town to take our photos for it this year. Halfway up the trail, my mom moved off to the side with a smile on her face. Behind her was a polished silver tray with red rose petals, my favorite scented candles, and a black envelope with a date in silver writing. I didn't think it had anything to do with us until I saw it was Timothy's writing on the envelope. At that point, I melted and opened the letter – it was the story of how we first met. After that, we continued to make our way up the bluff, and I kept finding more and more envelopes. The second, third, and forth envelopes had dates on them and contained our most meaningful and significant memories together. The fifth envelope had that day's date on it, but the note inside was blank.
