"Once we got down to the #beach, I went to sit down where we always do, but David grabbed my hand and lead me down towards the water. He was wearing #sneakers and I was making fun of him for wearing them on the beach (it’s a known rule you do not wear sneakers on the beach in #SanDiego...). He was completely unphased, even when the high tide soaked his shoes, and instead, he started rambling sweet things about us, our relationship and how much he loves me. He's always super sweet so I was still catching on to nothing. It wasn’t until he grabbed both of my hands and said “You know I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time...” that I figured it out. He reached into his back pocket, got down on #oneknee and held out a box which I totally ignored. I grabbed him immediately and hugged him as I bawled my eyes out like a total sap. I don’t even remember what all he said in the moment until he asked “so, is that a yes?” I cried, “yes” and then he asked “do you want to see the #ring?” I took a step back, saw the ring and tears exploded again. It was more beautiful than anything I could have ever dreamed of...."
