BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS

In the heart of Chengdu you can find Du Fu's Thatched Cottage. This 24-acre park and museum was preserved in honour of the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu. In 1961 the Chinese government established Du Fu Cao Tang as a National Heritage site. Du Fu is one of the most famous and beloved poets in Chinese history, he lived in the cottage with his family and composed 240 poems during his time there. Inside the gardens are quiet; streams wind through the bamboo shoots and classical architectural styles bring you a strong cultural atmosphere.
