So wait, you don't match your outfit to your wallpaper? I thought everyone did that?! I'm Laura, owner/calligrapher here at Laura Hooper Calligraphy. I run my business along with my sister @lyslaw and our studio is based in Old Town Alexandria {she lives in LA, but visits frequently, it works}. I started LHC because I hated my 9-5 doing mortgage loans. I had no clue calligraphy could be a career or that I could build a brand around my art. That was over 15 years ago, and today in addition to serving wedding clients with calligraphy & stationery, we also teach workshops around the US & beyond, ship starter kits and supplies all around the world and just had our first book published. Who knew?!
