Weddbook ♥ Now that the World's Coolest Job application is closed, we're really excited to bring back our weekly content creator stories. We are kicking this week off with the awesome @taylorcutfilms – he's one of the most talented photographers and videographers out there! Check out his story here: "I first got into photography in high school when I took a video production course. Once I realized I had the ability to complete homework assignments by making videos and taking pictures, it was all I ever did. I lived in New York City shooting concerts, and I eventually caught the attention of a producer in Los Angeles. I ended up touring with Usher for nearly three years. While traveling with him, I created his music videos, tour content and social media photos. After that, I worked with other musical artists such as Martin Garrix, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and The Chainsmokers. Most creators have their favorite type of photography. For me, I try not to pigeon hole myself into a specific style. If I had to say what my niche or genre was, I would say surreal or magical. I love giving a dream like feel to otherwise ordinary situations. I am always expressing a mood or tone depending on how I am feeling or what the situation calls for. One of my favorite places to shoot is my home, New York City. I also love shooting in Vancouver for its beautiful and surreal terrains, Italy because it is so magical and most recently, India. My mom is my biggest inspiration in terms of work ethic and passion. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 18 from South Africa to create a better life for herself. She constantly supports my passion for the arts. Christopher Nolan and other filmmakers in the industry also inspire me. I love his ability to create and tell such vast physiological concepts in a tangible way. @Instagram has changed my career. I discovered it about 3 years ago and it has given me such a large platform to share my art. People are able to consume and react immediately to something I share. It’s an amazing way to connect with other creators, supporters and people with the same passion." (
