Greenery-Filled Santa Barbara Beach + Barn Wedding

Greenery-Filled Santa Barbara Beach + Barn Wedding

Sometimes when you find the venue of your dreams, you just KNOW. That was the case for Tahlia + David; when they started wedding planning, their designer/planner, Nicole of Green Ribbon Parties, suggested that they take a look at Dos Pueblos Ranch in Santa Barbara. The moment they saw it, they fell in love! It had everything they wanted: enough space for 200 people, access to the beach, a beautiful wooden area, and an authentic barn for dinner and dancing.

Sounds like a dream, right?! Tahlia tells us Once the venue was selected, Nicole and I worked on the design. I had a few ideas in mind, I knew I wanted rose gold and green and I really wanted to feel like I was in a magical forest - something lush, with lots of twinkle lights. With Nicole's guidance we hired the most amazing team of vendors.

Hello rose gold shoes!! We're majorly crushing on those beauties from Jimmy Choo!

We've got a thing for rose gold and all these pretty gowns! Want to recreate a similar look? Here are a few of our favorite picks:

The wedding day was truly the best day of my life. We had all of our friends and family around us. We were able to get married on the beach under the most gorgeous chuppah with breathtaking views of the ocean. It was as if the ceremony was perfectly timed - the train went by just as we finished out vows!!!! The speeches were amazing and I am so grateful to my mom for all of her help and support.

We had different arrangements for the long tables and rounds and then my head table had the biggest and most beautiful garland with dahlias and garden roses in berry shades that really popped. Brown Paper Design absolutely captured my vision with all the florals + greenery. I adored everything at Casa De Perrin and their rose gold flatware was perfect, along with the green glasses and chargers.

Everything about this is absolutely SPECTACULAR!

Hire a planner! And trust your vendors. I had the best time planning my wedding because I hired a planner I trusted and who understood my taste. Nicole from Green Ribbon Parties was awesome and talked me through everything. I also loved all of the vendors we selected - from the most perfect venue ever - Dos Pueblos Ranch to the best florist - Brown Paper Design, who made the barn look just as I had envisioned. And our photographer captured it all so beautifully, so I can relive it whenever I want! I was so thankful to have them all on my team.

Try to involve your groom where you can. David was just as excited as I was and enjoyed going to the tastings and working on the music. And make sure to prioritize what is important to you both as a couple. We definitely had the best celebration, which was the perfect start to our lives together as a married couple!
