Lindsey and Whitney's beach wedding featured a fab DIY chuppah, two gorgeous gowns, and a little meaning to the wedding date.

Whitney is an aerial yoga instructor and practitioner, and the cloth of the chuppah was one of Whitney's aerial silks, which reminded them look to the sky and fly.

To begin the ceremony, the couple chose to walk toward each other, meeting in the middle to say their vows. Their dads walked them down to the beach, and then they walked with their moms the last little way, landing them under the chuppah. For both of them, their moms were their champions growing up, so they felt it was symbolic that they were the ones bringing them under the chuppah.

May 12th is the day Lindsey proposed to Whitney on the Big Island, at the volcano. June 13 is when Whitney proposed to Lindsey in Colorado at the top of Mount Quandary. So when they opted to get married on the 12th and to have their reception the day after the ceremony, on the 13th, it brought things full circle.

Let's see how much loveliness we can find in this sweet beach wedding...
