Bride Jane wore a traditional Korean Hanbok on her wedding day, and below she tells us why it was so meaningful to her:

"I wanted to incorporate my Korean-American heritage into the most important days of my life. I went to Korea often as a child and have many family members still living there, so it is a big part of my identity. Also, Korean wedding garments are much more colorful than the traditional western wedding garments and given how beautiful our venue was, I wanted to add to that with bright summer colors.

My cousins had these clothes hand made in Korea for me, and selected the specific colors. It may not be apparent in the photos but there are multiple layers of delicately dyed fabric (and multiple undergarments!) that make up the traditional dress."
