Sean and Chevhaun met by chance during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. "We both went to the Irish House with our group of friends on the night of the opening ceremony. There is actually a very cute picture of our meeting that one of Sean's friends took, which we still look at to this day," Chevhaun says.

When it came time to tie the knot, the couple chose an elegant vineyard as their venue. "It made our classic choices like a ballgown wedding dress and tuxedos stand out, in a good way. We had an abundance of freshly cut flowers everywhere around the venue, which added a really dreamy feel to a very romantic place," Chevhaun says.

As their wedding date approached, the couple worried that forest fires in the Okanagan Valley might ruin their celebration. "Only days before our wedding the air was still thick with smoke," Chevhaun explains. "Needless to say, when the wind came through the valley the night before and cleared the smoke we were pretty excited. The sun came shining down near the end of our ceremony-it made a perfect moment that much sweeter," Chevhaun says.

Chevhaun says one of her favourite moments of the day was the first dance. She and Sean took their first twirl as husband and wife to "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young. "Sean, being a musician, really took his time choosing a song for our first dance. The best part was when our baby daughter was put into our arms for the end of that dance-it completed the moment," she says.
