Clair and Michael chose the intimate setting of North Carolina's The Farm at Old Edwards Inn for their August destination nuptials. Nestled in the magnificent Blue Ridge Mountains, the inn provides panoramic views and an elegant, earthy atmosphere. The couple worked with Floressence Flowers to design a ceremony and reception that accented the breathtaking surroundings. A breezy tent adorned with gold chandeliers and a chic aisle garland played host to the heartfelt ceremony, where guests were welcomed with a sign hand-lettered by Clair's best friend and bridesmaid, Lauren. After a cocktail hour (complete with a boat of beer!), guests were ushered into the barn where the rustic setting was elegantly appointed with gracious farmhouse tables, taper candles, ivory blooms, gold mirrors, and greenery galore. Clair and Michael are Kentucky natives, and Clair surprised Michael with a Kentucky groom's cake surrounded by Kentucky's best bourbon!
