Old world inspiration in the French Quarter

via

We're excited to bring you a taste of some gorgeous old world inspiration. The Old Ursuline Convent is one of the oldest buildings in the heart of the historic French Quarter in New Orleans. The location's classic romanticism served as the inspiration for this beautiful styled shoot designed by Sapphire Events. The ivory, grey and slate blue color palette of the convent was blended with varying shades of purple and lavender-like in the stunning bouquet by Kim Starr Wise- to bring a modern feel to the aged backdrop. A hand painted lavender and blueberry cake by Melissa's Fine Pastries as well as the grey stationery by Julie Ha were elements that brought an undeniable elegant charm. We love it and know you will too when you see all the gorgeous photography by Matt and Julie Weddings.
