Forget the bikini body. This summer, get your eyebrows into shape! Eyebrows frame the face, and can dramatically change your look. Whether you prefer a natural look enhanced with a little color or something more bold, we've got the tips and tools to achieving beautiful brows.

SHAPING: Whether you're going to pluck, thread or wax, remember to maintain the natural shape of your brow. When plucking at home, focus your attention on the bottom of your brow, and follow the natural shape. Lightly tweeze above the eyebrow, only if needed.

BROW POWDERS: For those with naturally fuller brows or those who like to enhance the natural look of their brows, the best bet is a brow powder. Brow powder duos are ideal for soft-looking minimal coverage that gives the illusion of natural fullness. To use, comb brows with a spooley into desired shape. Beginning with the lighter of the two shades, apply in light strokes from the arch toward the inner part of the brow. Mix the lighter and darker shades and lightly apply to the brow switching to the darker shade as you work toward the tail of the brow. Blend with a spooley.

BROW PENS AND PENCILS: These work best for brows with sparse areas that need more defined color coverage. Begin by combing brows with a spooley into desired shape. Working with a light hand, in short strokes, apply color with brow pen to areas needing additional coverage. Work lightly into the rest of brow to even out the color. For added definition, lightly feather the color along the lower line and up into the brow. Apply more color along the arch and into the tail, following the natural look of eyebrows.

BROW GEL AND POMADE POTS: These provide the most color coverage, definition and are best for very sparse eyebrows or helping in the case of over-tweezed brows. The key to working with these is to slowly build up to the desired coverage with short strokes and an angled brush. Work with the side of the brush in sparse areas to give the appearance of individual hairs as you lay down the color. Since the most color will be laid down the most heavily with your first strokes, start in the arch of your brow, work toward the tail and then back toward the inner part of the brow as the product on the brush is running out. For added definition, use a brow pen to follow (or create) the lower brow line into the arch and down toward the tail.

TINTED AND CLEAR BROW GEL APPLICATORS: These are handy for a couple of different uses. They can be used on their own or with a powder to quickly and easily add color and set the shape of the brow-especially for those who have eyebrow hairs that don't like to stay in place once groomed. For those with sparse eyebrows, these also are great for adding and enhancing the texture of existing brow hairs for a more natural looking appearance in sparse areas.

ADDITIONAL TIPS: Work on your brows after you've moisturized, primed and applied foundation to your face, but before applying your eye makeup. Spooley brushes are a perfect brow tool for shaping, blending and removing color if you've over-applied anywhere. To further define your brow and add a pop of highlight, with a small concealer brush, apply a small amount of concealer a shade or two lighter than your natural skin tone just below the arch (and above, if you want) and blend into the rest of your foundation.
