Welcome to another wonderful week here at French Wedding Style blog and to kick this week off we have for you some timeless wedding day elegance in Paris.

Talented destination wedding photographer Anouschka Rokebrand traveled to Paris to capture the love between our beautiful bride and groom Danitcha and Maxime. You can also see a beautiful blush and copper French wedding inspiration shoot by Anouschka here.

We often see weddings and engagement shoots here at FWS in the city of love but each one is utterly unique and I love that about this picturesque 19th-century city.

Today's shoot is no different, full of beautiful lace, subtle flowers and so much love all captured near the basilica of the sacred heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur.

"In January I traveled to Paris to do some lovely shoots, one of which being this love shoot with Danitcha and Maxime in Monmartre around the Sacre Coeur." "Dutch Danitcha met Canadian Maxime in Australia when Dani was working there after her studies and Maxime had joined his brother there and was finishing up his studies. They connected and became great friends." "When Dani wanted to do a bit more traveling after her Australia adventures she traveled to Canada and her and Maxime traveled around Canada together. After a few months of traveling and having a lot of fun, it was time for Dani to head back home to The Netherlands and they realized they were clearly more than just good friends by now! So Maxime joined her in The Netherlands and they are still going strong!" "They had never done a professional photoshoot together and how romantic is it to do a shoot in Paris? Even on a foggy morning Paris does not disappoint and we created a gorgeous shoot together." "For Dani's outfit we opted for a Carrie Bradshaw type look with a tulle skirt from BHLDN, tanktop and gorgeous handmade lace cover up from one of my favorites, SIBO Designs. SIBO provided the gorgeous headpiece as well. We also brought along a gorgeous hatbox from Trousseau & Co." "For Max we went with a classic dark navy suit that gave a wonderful contrast to Dani's white and blush outfit." Timeless Wedding Day Elegance In Paris Snapshot

"We roamed the streets around the Sacre Coeur and found lovely spots for photos, including a lovely little terrace where we stopped for some hot tea."

I feel a visit to Sacre Cour coming on after this dreamy shoot, I've heard so many wonderful things about this Roman Catholic church.
