Jess and Adam's Oysterbox Wedding - Wedding Friends

Jess and Adam's wedding story is a classic. Complimented by soft blues and perfectly understated flower arrangements of white roses and blue-green posies. Less is more ladies, take some inspiration from this beautiful story and opt for soft colours and attention to detail.

Jess and Adam were married at the Oysterbox Hotel. The gorgeous couple were photographed by Brett Florens, capturing their beautiful day perfectly. The newlyweds braved the icy blue waters and decided to trash the dress in an after shoot. Jess shares their story with us...

Lovebirds | How did you two meet?

I actually approached Adam in a shopping center.
All my friends had him on MSN live messenger and I wanted to know who this popular boy was that everyone had except me.
So very unlike the shy me, I tapped on his shoulder and asked if he was Adam Woolf.
Since then we spent hours, days, weeks, months on MSN chatting and became best friends for 2 years.
I then started dating my best friend (Ad) and 9 years later we are married!!

I said Yes | How did the proposal go down?

In Mauritius, one night, Ad rented out the most amazing restaurant on the beach.
We arrived to a violinist, candle and flower filled table with custom menus designed by Ad.
We were the only ones in the restaurant and had it to ourselves.
Next to us on the beach was a bonfire. After mains Ad suggested we go stand by the fire on the beach.
He got down on one knee, and I barely contained myself but said YES!!

The Big Day | Tell us the most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Traditionally in Judaism, before you walk down the isle, the groom comes to unveil the bride. The most memorable and special moment was the anticipation while waiting for Ad and when he lifted my veil we were both lost for words, with tears filling our eyes.
Our dream day had finally arrived!

I Quote | Describe in one sentence your wedding day Everything we could have ever wished for and more!

Forever & Always | Any advice for future brides

Stay calm and be in the moment, accept that no matter how many years of planning go into the day, you need to accept that things will go wrong and the only people who know are you two. Everyone else thinks it's magical..
