Victoria and Peter's Romantic English Country Wedding...

Morning.

I hope you all had a brilliant Easter and are still reveling in your Chocolate hang over!

We have a very pretty and romantic English country wedding which is just perfect to share with you on this Easter bank holiday Monday.

Victoria and Peter said I do at Parish Church of St Nicholas in Stowey on the 30th May 2015 followed by a marquee reception in their friends field in North Widcombe, Chew Valley. Despite having an outdoor wedding, they still wanted to bring a touch of elegance to their marquee and dress it in a way that played on their quintessential English country garden theme. Using a colour palette of navy, blush, gold and pale green they dressed the marquee with lots of handmade bunting, hydrangeas, pretty furnishings and fairy lights.

We love Victoria's Sassi Holford wedding dress with its gorgeous lace detail and satin bow. We also love the blush bridesmaid dresses from John Lewis which compliment Victoria's dress beautifully.

Shot by John Barwood Photography, Victoria and Peter talk us through their day.

We used a lot of candles throughout the marquee, flowers in milk churns and large glass votives, large gold antique frames for the table plan and cocktail menu, flower balls hanging from the marquee, I had matching bunting, cushions and table runners made.

In the evening we had lots of fairy lights hanging over the dance floor and festoon lighting on the exterior of the marquee. This looked really effective.

Walking down the aisle and seeing Peter for the first time & seeing all our friends and family together enjoying the day.

Enjoy all the planning, staying calm makes the planning stress free and also good to discuss over a glass of wine!
