Opening Ceremony knows how to throw a Fashion Week party, and last night's shindig in Chinatown was no exception. The location this season? A Chinese restaurant on the second floor of a dated shopping mall on East Broadway. The drinks? Tiger beer, wheeled around in carts by restaurant staff, sparkling Chandon splits, and Fiji water with conveniently built-in straws. Guests queued patiently for pork buns and a remarkably well-organized coat check comprised of hundred of chairs.

Rosario Dawson, Natasha Lyonne, Dion Lee and Adam Selman mingled with the coolest/weirdest kids of fashion week, the majority of whom sported a distinctly late '80s/early '90s fashion vibe, from flat top afros to Blossom-style hats and suspenders. V-Files showroom owner Ruth Gruca honored her client Andrea Jiapei Li in a typically out-there creation, while diminutive tattooed British model Rebecca Fox showed off her most recent ink-on her face.

Opening Ceremony honored its Chinese hosts with a traditional performance featuring dragons and a dancing monkey, who entered up the stairs to insanely loud banging drums, forcing the likes of Charlie XCX to cover her ears, while Atlanta De Cadenet-Taylor shot video for her Instagram. It's hard to achieve that 'illicit rave' feeling without it seeming contrived but once again, OC killed the party game by keeping it fresh and low-key.
