Irene + James have been happily married for 50 sweet years, so to celebrate that amazing milestone, their granddaughter, photographer Micahla Wilson, helped them plan a gorgeous 50th anniversary vow renewal at their beautiful farmhouse in Louisiana.

Micahla sahares, They live on a farm and have dogs, horses, cows, and chickens. My grandpa tends to the cows every morning, and my grandma gardens corn and squash. She grows berries and pears. They are kind-hearted and love each other more than anything in this world. When people think of the marriage they want, they think of the two.

Irene + James recited their vows in front of close family on the front porch of their home.

Irene wore two lovely sparkly BHLDN dresses; one for their ceremony and a second for their sweet, al fresco dinner.
