Organic Industrial Wedding Inspiration

Organic Industrial Wedding Inspiration

via

In an effort to show urban couples that an outdoor wedding venue can work beautifully with modern-industrial design elements, the team at Cedarwood Weddings (from Historic Cedarwood in Nashville, Tennessee) planned + designed this gorgeous organic-meets-industrial editorial, captured beautifully by Jenna Henderson. They were inspired by stone, metal and minerals, all of which helped give the rustic setting a unique, edgy shine. They tell us, Anchoring the beauty of the venue's grounds, a 200 year-old stacked stone wall was a naturally-beautiful backdrop for our tablescape, featuring gunmetal chairs, gray linen napkins, galvanized steel vessels and handmade pottery. Layers of gray tones accent the sleek style of the tabletop, which is both softened and emboldened by foliage and florals. Selected for their texture and silver-gray color, plant materials include air plants, succulents and olive branches.

The Cedarwood team also crafted the jaw-dropping florals, which paired perfectly with a Claire Pettibone dress from The Dress Theory + blue suede lace-up booties.

Seriously, the back of that dress is to die for! And its silvery hue is a perfect match for the overall aesthetic.

Together, the fashion and fusion of nature and industrial design elements are ideal for an urban couple wanting a modern feel to an alfresco gathering.

Such gorgeous organic pottery tableware from Handmade Studio TN!
